05 Jul Construction Company is Providing Free Storm Shelters in New Homes
Storm shelters have become a hot topic in light of the recent tornadoes that have swept through Oklahoma. In response, 1st Oklahoma Construction is working with local contractors to install free shelters in new custom homes beginning in August.
“We want our customers to feel safe in their homes,” said Ali Farzaneh, owner of 1st Oklahoma Construction. “After the May tornadoes, I felt that I could do more as a homebuilder. Providing storm shelters for members of the community will help them feel safe and prepared for future tornado seasons.”
Living in Oklahoma, its important to have a place to go when the weather turns for the worse. 1st Oklahoma understands this and want people living here to feel safer when buying a house. These underground storm shelters will be built inside the house to prevent residents from having to go outside to take cover.
“We don’t want to just provide storm shelters, we want to provide shelters using the best quality material,” said Farzaneh. “We’ve seen what the strong Oklahoma winds can do and our primary concern is safety for our customers.”
All storm shelters built will meet FEMA guidelines and will include built-in steps and seating. For more information, please call 405-701-5557 or online at www.firstokconstruction.com.
